When I new FSU had an offensive problem was back around 2003. I was watching a game and just befuddled at how it seemed Chris Rix could not go through a read progression, particularly when I would flip the channel and watch Matt Leinart go through reads like a seasoned pro quarterback. The question in my mind then became; was it just a simple offensive scheme or a quarterback not capable of going through a read progression. To make things worse, these days, all you seem to see is Drew Weatherford throwing jump balls to Greg Carr. Here is one thing I know; FSU no longer has the game breaking athletes to make an apparent simple offensive scheme be productive. I hope a coordinator can bring in an offensive scheme that can be productive based on execution.
