Okay, I am Treo biased, but I have always admired these slider ppc phones till a tried the Cingular 8125 for a whole week. Today, it is collecting dust as cool gadget on display. Why? These devices suck if you work on the go. The major appeal of the slide out keyboard sounds cool at first, but when that wears off, then you find out it makes absolutely no sense if you have previously used a Treo. Here is the main problem. If you are walking down a street and want to type a memo, email or respond to an sms, with a Treo you can do this while walking. With these slider ppc phones, you have to stop, slide out the keypad, rotate the screen and then enter data. Yeah, you look cool doing it the first few times, but then it becomes time wasting and just slows you down. If you need a wm5 smartphone and like to work on the move, I would stay away from these Slider ppc phones, the crappy Q and other non touchscreen smart phones. Which leads to only one recommendation; A treo 750 wm5 device. I told you I was Treo biased!!!!!

I don't think if this would make no sense if you work on the move. thanks for the post.

i was considering getting a treo 750 but a US based 3g PPC phone has no way to dissable the 3g radio, if the PPC did i would probably ditch my blackjack for it.

hmmmm i dont agree. i used to be treo biased until i broke mine, bought a sprint ppc 6700 and fell in love with it. when i switch from sprint to cingular... i sold my 6700 and bought a cingular treo and was deeply saddened about the huge down grade i have made only just to switch service providers. i eventually went back to sprint, got my hands on a new 6700 and my treo is collecting dust, but i still keep it in my pocket or on my hip as and extra camera for emergencies. who cant walk and slide a phone 2inches to the left at the same time anyways? if u cant slide and walk, how can u type and walk? im currently running the iphone look-a-like them on my ppc 6700 also where tons of sqared screen treo users are having a hard time finding programs that fit their tiny screen. but at the end of the day... everything is broken down into opinions. id rather stick with my touch screen slide phone than go back to that small screen, gameboy look-a-like. screen is bigger, better apps, watch tv on it, flip the screen into landscape mode and view from widescreen, i can actually use my fingers with the larger screen rather than being forced to use my stylus due to lack of room on the screen. but hey, its all opinions tho. i guess im jus slide phone biased.
