Hey guys, I purchased it and it works great. EXCEPT for some reason sometimes when i Sync my iPhone on iTunes all my custom ringtones on my iPhone go away. then i have to re-send them and reassign them. anyone know the answer? if you do, please email me at rdazndrgn@hotmail.com just put IPHONE HELP in the subj. i would really apprciate it.

My experience...with 7.4.1, ringtones DO NOT survive a sync even with the ringtones unchecked. I wish the fix was really that simple. Nevertheless this is a great program..super easy to use and I'm glad I bought it. Even if this issue with ringtones being erased doesn't get fixed, once I get all my music copied over there's really no reason for me to go on syncing my phone anyway as I don't use iTunes to get music.

Hmmm...
Previous post from Michael says ringtones do NOT survive a sync even with sync ringtones unchecked.
Two posts up from that someone else said thta the ringtones DO survive a sync with the ringtones unchecked...any ideas?
Also...i'm sorry for using this blog as a forum for ringtonemaker...any chance for a threaded discussion on the main software site?

Count me as another buyer waiting to get their hands on a 7.4.1 compatible version. The trial worked great, too bad itunes erased them all(even with sync ringtones unchecked)

Picture, if you will, my credit card leaning against my keyboard wishing to be used for your nifty software.
Any ETA on your fix to the 7.4.1 problem?
Might I suggest naming the new version 1.4.1 :-)

Works great! I used the trial to see if it worked, and have now bought the full version.
If you uncheck the 'Sync Ringtones' box in iTunes 7.4.1, it works fine. The ringtones stay on the phone. Thanks for this great software!

What I meant about "iphoneringtonemaker", (see first comment above) is you can't use it on a stand alone Mac machine...one WITHOUT Windows needing to be on it!

Hello,
I have just purchased your ringtone maker for the iPhone, and it is the coolest app on the market. I used the demo before iTunes updated, and with their pay everytime you turn around program, I went with my head and decided to support the innovative mind you obviously have.
I eagerly await your update to keep pace with iTunes, and am enjoying making ringtones w/out going to 7.4.
Thanks for making a great program!

Yeah, I had previously used the trial to get 3 ringtones on my iPhone but was waiting to see what Apple was going to do before buying. Now that they've shown their hand I'll buy as soon as I know you've gotten past this iTunes 7.4 business with it wiping ringtones every sync. Thanks.

After getting hosed by Apple on the price drop, and now having to pay for music I already own, I'll buy your software as soon as you fix the incompatibility w/iTunes 7.4.

I read on a Mac forum somewhere (MacRumors?) that if the ringtones are put in /home/root/Library/? instead of /Library/? then they aren't wiped out by iTunes 7.4. Might want to look into it.

Hi I purchased the Ring Tone maker. Very Happy but sad to say that the new itunes 7.4 removes my ringtones after a sync. I hope you can fix this soon...
